Irakli:
After wonderful three and a half years, I will be leaving Phase2, this week. As I wipe tears of sadness to be partying with my friends and receive congratulations with the new position, I took time to write a blog post to my colleagues and the Drupal community, talking about my departure and what that means for Phase2 products.

Welcome to Phase2's new look. We've reworked our logo and brand. We've adopted a new color and style. We've built ourselves a shiny new Drupal site. While our look got a facelift, the faces and work at Phase2 are still the same.

Last Friday afternoon we got most of the company together at the park outside the office. We were joined by family and some of the dogs to share some BBQ, Bocce, frisbee and refreshments. A fun time was had by all despite the heat. Here are the pics from the event. http://www.flickr.com/groups/phase2/pool/show/

Where do Chief Technical Officers come from? Are they grown on trees? Are they hatched on a CTO farm? Many times they are grown from architects, engineers or developers. However, the CTO role can represent a drastic shift from what most production-oriented technical practitioners are prepared for or expecting. How are these growing pains best overcome?
