Technical Talks We’ll Love to Hear at DrupalCon

Betsy:

It just so happens that Samantha, Joel, and Jeff are all presenting at various times throughout the day in Chicago on March 9. But our developers secured the exact same slot on Day 3 of DrupalCon.

So now we have to make a difficult choice: Should we get schooled by Frank? Or Irakli and Eric?

Regardless of which session we attend, we hope you’ll be among those folks heading to (at least) one of these two talks on March 10 at 2:15 PM:

  • Frank will present “Building Drupal Platforms.” As our CTO for the past decade, he’s been watching the evolution of Drupal since its infancy and has been a prime factor in our decision to build scalable platforms using Drupal. So shortly following Jeff’s introduction of OpenPublic (our newest distribution), Frank will be discussing the “how, why, and for whom” that we consider whenever we’re innovating with Drupal to extend its capabilities into new arenas of enterprise publishing.
  • Irakli and Erik will co-present “Drupal Module Coding: Leaner Techniques for Faster Websites.” Both of these guys have been developing high-performance websites amid requirements like sophisticated, interactive features and multi-site integration points. (And perhaps nowhere is this more evident than with our government and global publishers -- integrating sharing capabilities for worldwide audiences without sacrificing load time is imperative). So come hear which tips and strategies Irakli and Eric are using to code lean, mean websites.

And since we can’t even attend both sessions delivered by our own staffers, we definitely won’t be able to make every awesome-sounding technical talk. But a handful of additional coding sessions that sound right up our alley include:

Which sessions are you attending?
