See You in Chicago at DrupalCon!

DrupalCon is like our annual retreat. We go there to get inspired, recharge, exchange awesome ideas, and help to make a difference in the open-source community beyond our neighborhoods here in the DC area.

And like in previous years, we also are really eager to see Phase2 people participate on various panels so they can share some of their experiences with others. (Plus, it’s always nice to see our staff members partnering up with other top Drupal and open-source firms around the nation).

We’ll write a few posts that give more description of the design, business, and technical discussions we’ll be leading or participating in at DrupalCon -- hopefully you can attend and we can say “hi” to you. But, just for a general quick overview, we hope you’ll join us at the following sessions:

• On March 9 at 11 AM -- Samantha will present “Avoiding a Frankenstein Website Design: Collaborating with Clients”
• On March 9 at 1 PM -- Joel will join a panel including Nicole Lind of Treehouse Agency, and Palantir.net’s Amy O’Malley and George DeMet to talk about “Project Management as an Art Form”
• On March 9 at 2:15 PM -- Samantha will continue a busy day by then joining UX Expert Steve Fisher, Lullabot’s Jared Ponchot, and Designer Mark Boulton on a panel called “Design Thinking”
• On March 9 at 3:45 PM -- Jeff will be (very excitedly) Introducing OpenPublic: The Government Drupal Distribution, with help from the New York State Senate’s CIO, Andrew Hoppin
• On March 9 at 4:30 PM -- Jeff will run over to join Acquia’s Robert Douglass in co-presenting “Drupal as a Mature Software Industry”
• On March 10 at 2:15 PM -- Frank will present “Building Drupal Platforms”
• Also on March 10 at 2:15 PM -- Irakli and Erik will co-present “Drupal Module Coding: Leaner Techniques for Faster Websites”

And to show our love for this event each year, we decided to re-sponsor the 2011 conference at a platinum level. It’s the least we can do for a conference that brings together everyone who makes Drupal awesome.
