Random web tools that you might find useful
In my infinite quest for knowledge on everything 'web' I've come across a slew of tools that you might find useful. Some are old, some are new, but hopefully you'll find at least one you can use
Skitch - skitch is a great screen capture tool for the mac that allows for quick, effortless editing and exporting with a minimal amount of clicks. Need a .png? A .gif? Maybe a JPEG. Just change a drop down setting and drag the file onto your desktop, into an instant message window, an email - wherever. Plus, skitch allows for easy image uploads where you can share aforementioned in a variety of 'one click' ways. Free for now, not sure what will happen when it leaves beta.
Hunch - hunch.com is an interesting new 'suggestion engine' that helps you decide what to do or answers your questions. It uses an interesting mix of mathematial algorithyms + your answers to 'learn about me' questions as well as 'crowd' sourced data. I must admit, Ive only just started using the site, but already it helped me choose what to eat for lunch (rather successfully I might add).
