Tiffany:

Join us at Baileys Pub on Wednesday, October 1st for the Northern Virginia Drupal meetup.

Baileys is accesible easily by Metro and also has parking avilable. More information about transportation below. We’ll be in the Burgandy room in back on the right – look for signs.

We will cover 2 – 3 topics @ roughly 15-20 minutes per topic. Each topic includes a short presentation (less than 15 minutes) followed by Q&A (strongly encouraged)

Topics that have been discussed include:

  • Using Drupal for Multi-site CMS’s
  • Tuning for Drupal Performance and scalability
  • TBD

We’ll also have plenty of time for networking over some cold beers!

Heard of Drupal? Interested in various CMS options? Come on out- the program will have something for everyone from marketers, business folks, developers to those who’ve just heard about Drupal and want to learn more.

By Metro:

Take the Orange line to the Ballston-MU Metro station, which is located at the SE and NW corners of Fairfax Drive and North Stuart Streets (there is only one exit from this stop). Take the escalators to the top and turn right. Cosi Café on Stuart Street will face you. Turn left. Walk two blocks until you reach the entrance to Ballston Common Mall just to the left of Macy’s. Enter the mall and turn left onto the concourse toward the exit to Randolph Street. You will see the entrance to Bailey’s on your right about 50 feet before you come to the Randolph Street exit.

Parking

Bailey’s is in the Ballston Common Mall at the corner of Glebe Road and Wilson Boulevard – Bailey’s is closest to the Randolph Street entrance. The entrance to the mall parking garage is at 627 North Glebe Road, at the intersection of Glebe and Randolph Roads, across from the Exxon station. Parking is $1.00 if you enter after 6:00 p.m. Take the parking garage elevator to the M1/G1 level. Turn to your left, and walk up the stairs and through the glass doors. Walk to your right toward the Randolph Road exit. You will see the entrance to Bailey’s on your right about 50 feet before you come to the Randolph Street exit.
