ADCMW Selects Three Phase2 Design Studio Sites for their Annual Show

Betsy:

In 2010, when we learned that the Art Directors Club of Metro Washington (ADCMW) was awarding our design of The New Republic site a silver medal, we saw that both as a validation of our ongoing design and UX work in Drupal *and* as an opportunity to grow.

Overall, the experience also propelled us to push harder. And that’s just what we did.

We recently learned that three of our projects -- Phase2DesignStudio.com, OpenPublicApp.com, and the ADCMW.org website itself (which we did pro-bono for them) -- will be featured in the 2011 ADCMW Annual Show. We couldn’t be more thrilled.

“Our design team looked at these sites as opportunities to be expressive ” said Samantha Warren, our senior designer who also happens to serve on the ADCMW board, though is not/was not involved in the judging. "Drupal is such a powerful and versatile platform, we want to make sites that are as beautiful as they are well-built. User experience is an important part of what we do, but we also aim to delight. We hope these designs help inspire more delightful Drupal websites."
